Learn about the special days and events that are commemorated during this season. This video relates the changes of seasons to major holidays and special days celebrated by people of various ethnic groups in the U.S.  Included are: Easter, Passover, Arbor Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Flag Day, and Memorial Day.

Spring starts with the Vernal Equinox March 20th or 21st and ends in late June.  It’s a time of beginnings in nature.  Spring rains encourage seeds to sprout and flowers to appear in many parts of the country.   Call 718 499-9705 x 303 to schedule this program ON–DEMAND; also available on eView.
