EducationCity New “Computing” Module

AVAILABLE TO ALL TEACHERS NOW!!!

EducationCity has created a  new “Computing” module that is available to all diocesan schools.  This module will help you introduce technology skills to your K-5 students.  Students will not only learn how to use technology, but use it safely and responsibly.

Computing includes all the great resources you know and love, such as activities, interactive mini lessons and lesson plans to help guide your exploration of Computing.  Computing is organized into three sections:

1.  Digital Literacy:  Use technology safely and responsible, explore different uses of technology and understand how computer networks work.

2.  Information Technology:  Search and evaluate online content, create and organize digital content and use different software programs.

3.  Computer Science:  Learn the basics of coding, create and debug programs and understand how programs work. Computing1
