CTN “GRAMMAR-THON CONTEST“ – OFFICIAL RULES

MUST BE A PRINCIPAL/TEACHER OF AN ELEMENTARY ACADEMY/SCHOOL OF THE DIOCESE OF BROOKLYN TO ENTER

REGISTRATION/CONTEST PERIOD:

CTN “GRAMMAR-THON CONTEST” (“Contest”) is a contest which will begin on 08:00:01 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) 02/28/20 and end on 04:59:59 PM EST 02/28/20 (“Contest Period”). The Contest will have one (1) registration entry period to determine one (1), winner. The registration entry period begins at 12:01 AM EST 02/06/20 and ends at 11:59 PM EST 02/24/20. See chart below for registration entry period dates.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Registration Period, complete all required information and submit your entry according to the directions on the Grammar-Thon Contest Registration Form. Entrants must provide their full (Teacher’s) name, school name, e-mail, school website address and classes enrolling. Your entry will be entered into the contest only if received by the Registration Entry Period during the aforementioned time frame. Entries received after the Registration Period end date will not be considered. No hand or e-mail deliveries of entries will be accepted. Contest Entities are not responsible for late, incomplete, void, corrupted, garbled, misdirected, or otherwise unintelligible entries or for any problems, bugs or malfunctions you may encounter when submitting your entry. Incomplete, garbled, corrupted or otherwise illegible entries are void and will not be accepted. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an address or anything else, the winning entry will be declared by CTN.

ELIGIBILITY: Contest is free to enter and open to teachers of Elementary Schools of the Diocese of Brooklyn. To be eligible to win, the school must accumulate the highest points per classroom. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest for reasons that include but are not limited to: poor participation; fraudulent activity; misuse of student accounts.

PRIZES: (1) Pizza Party to Top winning class. Top class for each grade level (K-6) will receive certificates and prizes. Approximate Retail Value “ARV” of the prizes: not to exceed $500.

NOTIFICATION: All winners will be announced on 03/06/20 by 12:00 pm. Winners will be notified by email and will have 5 days to accept their prize. The winning school will be published on ctnbq.org.

The winner will be determined from all eligible entries received during the registration entry period.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: All entrants agree at all times to defend, indemnify, release and hold harmless CTN , and its respective parent entity DeSales Media Group, the Diocese of Brooklyn, distributors, divisions, promotional licensees, promotional partners, promotional agencies, prize providers, agencies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, representatives, owners and agents from and against any and all claims, actions, liabilities, injuries, death, accidents, losses or damages of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from any and all activity related to entering and/or participating in this Contest or from the acceptance or use of prizes. In no event will more than one (1) Prize be awarded. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
