“Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes regarding events and circumstances in one’s life or the world at large.”
Hope is a part of everyone’s life. Hope is powerful because it helps people find light during a bleak time. It helps make tough situations bearable. Because of the current circumstances, we need hope this pandemic will end.
We often find ourselves in a tough situation where we think there is no chance of happiness. This is when hope comes into play. Hope can be powerful because sometimes it helps us mentally, giving us the strength to overcome worries or dilemmas. You always hear people saying that if you go to a competition, audition, test, or anything that requires evaluation, you are more likely to do well with a positive mindset.
Above all else, you need to have hope that God will guide you. When we pray, we hope that our faith in God will enlighten us. We remember that hope is not something that comes easily, hope is powerful and helps us in many circumstances. During the Covid-19 crisis, it’s important to look back to important moments in our faith. The Israelites were slaves in Egypt for hundreds of years until God sent Moses to deliver them out of slavery. For many years afterward people waited for the Messiah to come, and then one day God sent us Jesus. These are wonderful examples of hope because it shows us that we should never lose hope in God no matter how long we have to wait.
